seems to me that the (alledged) distribution ration of 1:1.5 would have to be divided proportionately with the split. i.e a 2 for 1 split would result in a 1:.75 ratio. but that's just winging. i have not read anything alluding to it.

Palm shares would almost certainly stay at 570 million, and you'd get 0.75 PALM per COMS instead of 1.5. But why would 3-Com want to be left with a stock trading in the teens?
