World Bank official to explore Indian 'NET' WASHINGTON: A top World Bank official is visiting India to explore ways to support the growing Internet industry in India and promote its applications in business, economic and social domains. Mr. Mohsen Khalil, who has recently been appointed director of global information and communications technologies department of the World Bank and International Finance Corporation will visit New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai starting February 17 to hold talks with government officials and industry leaders, according to an IFC release. hinduonline.com
