Company Press Release

Wireless OC-3 Sonet at Worldwide Wireless
Networks Inc.

ISP Introduces Helioss Communications, Inc. as a New Strategic Partner for Wireless Optical
Carrier (Fiber/sonet) Level Transport

ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 18, 2000-- Worldwide Wireless Networks Inc., (OTCBB:WWWN - news)
through its Global Pacific Wireless Internet division, today announced an agreement to use OC-3 Sonet wireless equipment
from HeliOss Communications, Inc. WWWN has chosen to use the HeliOss Maverick 150 23GHz product to serve as the
backbone for its Los Angeles Wireless Network buildout. The HeliOss products, when combined with the previously
announced planned deployment of the Adaptive Broadband AB Access point-to-multipoint access platform, will allow
WWWN to provide Los Angeles customers with leading edge voice, video and data broadband services. The Company also
intends to offer the HeliOss products as one of its primary components for network access for individual customers. This will
allow the Company to provide an extremely flexible architecture for broadband Wireless Internet and Intranet access, which
will be scalable up to 155 Mbps. The Company will also offer its customers Wireless Voice over I.P. (VoIP), network
consulting services and network management services.

The featured backbone component is HeliOss' Maverick 150(TM) wireless data networking equipment. The Maverick
150(TM) Product Family is a high-capacity wireless point-to-point system for 155Mbps (SDH/SONET) communication use in
many types of metropolitan and rural applications. The integrated network management capabilities are based on international
standard interfaces such as SNMP, Telnet, TFTP and PPP. The system includes a low profile outdoor unit (ODU) containing
the RF Assembly, high performance antenna and mount, and a compact indoor unit (IDU), which is a 1RU rack-mountable
package. The Maverick150(TM) series products include an advanced modem with a powerful forward error correction (FEC)
scheme. It makes extensive use of MMIC and VLSI technology, resulting in low cost, low power consumption and high
MTBF.

``We at HeliOss are thrilled to be supplying WWWN with our new 23GHz OC-3 Maverick products. We view the Internet
access market here in the States as a significant growth opportunity and are pleased to be part of the WWWN solution,' said
Tom Cheatham, President and CEO of HeliOss.

WWWN intends to use HeliOss' products in its expansion efforts of its owned and operated wireless Internet network, not
only throughout all of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego, but also in other geographic regions nationwide. ``As a
result of this partnership with HeliOss, Worldwide Wireless is able to provide an astonishing 155 Megabits of broadband
wireless Sonet access to customers at very favorable pricing. This is very rare and will revolutionize the way OC-3s are
provisioned. Our company's wireless point-to-multipoint solution for fixed networks enables our customers to leapfrog existing
infrastructure, so the initial investment is significantly lower than that required for conventional wired alternatives. This HeliOss
high speed wireless infrastructure essentially enables us to rapidly deploy new networks, or network segments, and provision
high capacity access links in weeks instead of months or years. Our network architecture will not only be highly scalable but
also very robust and able to deliver speeds that are difficult to obtain from conventionally wired backbone providers at a
reasonable cost today,' said Jack Tortorice, CEO of Worldwide Wireless Networks, Inc.
