IEEE Communications Magazine: Hi Frank, Thought I would pass along a link to you and everybody who reads this thread. The articles contain good information on all optical networks and topics of interest in migrating from ATM/SONET to all optical: comsoc.org If you locate an EE library where you can get the articles, next month's issue is also devoted to optical networks and the theme is: "Optical Networks: A Reality Check". I will try to post some observations as time permits. George
