I'm out here at the launch - DELL is trying hard to look like they are behind Win2K but there are some big holes in their story - for example, NONE of their products are available with Win2K on their web site. When I talked with a DELL person about it he mumbled something about extensive testing, need to be sure everything is ready for customers... meanwhile the CPQ people said that ALL of their commercial products are available with Win2K and have been shipping since Jan 22... CPQ was first to ship a product with Win2K to a customer...

I thought MSD's speech was kind of defensive, it's not strong to say the reason one should buy a DELL server is because DELL is selling more of them... especially when they are not available with Win2K at the moment... at the Win2K launch event...
