A person like that has sustained any number of slights to his self- esteem, and is bent upon self- assertion regardless of propriety or even common sense. If he is not out and out lying, he is misleading about everything he claims........

back in college I had a roomie who was an admitted communist. I ended up kicking him out after 3 months because he never had the money for rent. But he was very capitalistic. He was a dual major math/comp science and into writing embedded software for big bucks.
