"Forecasting is very difficult particularly when we are talking about the future". Those regression models really work well when used to predict historical data. The models I developed (when in mining industry) for predicting copper, gold and silver prices were dead on re historical predictions. Predicting the future is more difficult and requires a higher daily consulting fee.
