Sir Galahad, let me add my compliments and thanks on behalf of the other Gorilla gamers that you have led to NTAP.

Aunt Nancy will probably forgive you for the crass comments about her SUV.

" clop clop clop clop (the sound that EMC hears from below."

Now, now, now, you just couldn't help yourself, could you? <ggg>

Seriously, I had thought of buying NTAP about a year ago, after I had completed filling my EMC position. But I decided to go with just one storage company. Why compete against myself, and not just go with the leader?

It was your info regarding the differences between NAS vs SAN that prompted me to bite the bullet and equal my initial investment in EMC with NTAP shares.

It looks like it will take about two months of holding NTAP to equal a year's growth in EMC.

Planning on holding them both for the foreseeable.

Thanx again, DS.

Marc

Oh, and we did get the split we discussed earlier today. Like I said, bullish statement by the company. Gonna feel like a blackjack dealer raking in those added chips of JDSU and NTAP next month (yeah, I know I just end up with twice as many chips that are worth half as much, but the pile sure does look bigger).

I just hope that JDSU doesn't reconsider given LU's decision to up their ante in optical "parts" business <gggggg>. And IBM's Shark is going to eat up EMC. Yeah, right.
