Tench,

Most Integer operations take one cycle. The FPU instructions take 3 cycles. I see more sense in running FPU rather than the integer unit at 2X clock rate.

So does the FPU run at 2x clock rate ? Or do both the integer and floating point units run at 2x clock speed.
