Remember SSYS - that thinly traded, heavily shorted pick...

earnings look great. 4m float, almost 1/2m short and strong back to back earnings reports...sure to get interesting now...

I still don't understand why so many shares are still short...somebody's sleepin' at the wheel...

Rande, you said
<<. it is impossible to accurately predict what is going on there. The only prediction I can make is that the techs are unpredictable right now and will probably continue to stay that way for some time to come.

Is this the start of a major pullback? I don't know. . . but the market is so unstable that I feel far safer on the sidelines. . .than in the trenches trying to force something to happen. The techs just feel tired. . . >>>

I agree with you. The Naz chart is somewhere between stagnant and stumbling....inflation figures out soon could cause a cataclysm in either direction, up or down. Oil prices are mind-boggling, too---$14 per barrel last year and $30 now....plus comments being heard about $2.00-per-gallon gas by this summer. This doesn't affect tech stocks, necessarily, but does affect overall market mood.
