Tench has confirmed that FPU runs at clock speed of 1.5Ghz and integer at 2x the main clcok speed.

Also Anand has stated this as well.

So in general i would say that willy should be kick ass.

(at least when coupled with 2 channels of RDRAM in an 840 type of chipset).

And essentially with its 2 integer units it should do very well with business apps and servers etc.

I suspect AThlon will have a tough time with the current AThlon core beating it (except maybe in FP apps).

There's a lot more we really need to know before we can really judge it.

In addition Mustang is a new core as well so should be interesting to know what surprises AMD has in store.
