If you trade a nazd stock then you always get 100 shares at the first b/ask quote. And then, if you trade one of the yhoo/akam/nsol/itwo likes then 100 shares are $25k or more, which is roughly the size. No? And then it is no prob to trade 2k yahoo. Another poster mentioned it already: Use Limits, and if you are so inclined, set a teenie or 2 leeway. In that case if the MMe is screwwy he fills you at the limit if not better, but not at a random price.

NITE is notorious at scamming every single order and they get worse every day cause ..people dont complain..

Way back when A@P started a thread, he encouraged everyone to get a real broker. It is some of the best general advice that he ever offered. If you want execution, do it on the phone. I have been amazed at the results that I get when I foam at the mouth with a broker on the other end. (And sometimes, I do foam...but it works for me.) The very best that I ever had online was questionable. If you want to hit something fast moving...do it on the phone. Period. JMHO. lee
