I had a friend with one of those monster dishes. He had a seat on the New York commodities exchange, and a couple of traders working for him. He lived in a beat up mansion in Annapolis, visited New York every third week, and otherwise used the dish to get fresh data from the exchange. He kept in touch with his people by phone. He never described the bink, though. I wonder if he ever had that sort of thing happen during a hot trade? Anyway, he got hurt bad on Black Monday, and had to sell his seat and find a job at the Commerce Department........
