GB - <Perhaps you should tell Anand and Tom about the PowerPoint demo. This extract is from Anand's report:>

Not running benchmarks is another issue entirely.

Anand and Tom could have known Willy was running the PPT presentation, and Anand still could have wrote the paragraph.

Those guys make their living by commenting on and posting benchmarks. I'm sure they would have loved to have seen some.

JC made the same sort of critical observation about the T-bird demo (just running "My CPU" utility).

Re: "Perhaps you should tell Anand and Tom about the PowerPoint demo.... [typical Intel bashing by Anand and Tom's group about missing benchmarks etc]"

2 things Gopher.

#1 I hope you saw my response to Stevie Blunder. It is an eye witness report from a poster who claims Albert Yu explained the PowerPoint presentation was done on a Willamette. You probably won't believe it because it will make you uncomfortable.

#2. To display their uncontained bias, I don't remember Anand and or Tom complaining about AMD's refusal to run any benchmarks on the 1.1GHz demo they did last week. Nonetheless they see fit to complain about Intel.
