No, he started a new job and given the stress of an engineering job in a new division I doubt he is getting much time to rest let alone worry about the markets. He will probably emerge in a few months to say hello, but is probably blissfully unaware of what the markets are doing. I am just going over the trading for the day on individual stocks now. All I can say is wow, totally unreal. My broker said one of the talking heads today mentioned that he thought that based on his earnings projections the COMPX would be 5500 this year and the Dow 14,000. I got no idea where he is getting his numbers from. The talking head was also warnings of a collapse in commodity prices. Does anyone have a feel for how the media is portraying the current market conditions? I haven't had TV or cable for a few years now, so I have no idea of the current psychology being promoted by the media.
