In my humble opinion...getting a margin call based on the information you just provided..is a pile of crap..I'm an amateur investor so I can't give you much helpful advice other than to ask for the "Floor Supervisor" and get an explanation..Common sense says they're wrong and shouldn't be able to do that.. In short..don't put up with that bull*#!T In my humble opinion of course.. Chris

Michael - Don't know if this will help any but....... I have an account with Investorline in Canada. When JDSU split the last time it showed as a loss in my account....this did not matter as I was not margined. When I inquired I was told it would be a week before the new shares would be issued and deposited in my account. I suggested I may want to sell them now and not wait a week, and they said I could even though technically they were not in my account yet. IMO the same should hold true with your OCLI shares. The issuer delay should not be an issue in your transaction. JMHO fishweed
