I hope you're right, since I didn't get my fill. -g- But I find it tough to believe in lots of new shorts @ 120-150; the price action seemed too desperate. Know something I don't?

I figure the stock (and concomitant options vols) will settle down. AMAT's guidance is out and IDF is winding down, and I don't see near-term emotional catalysts after this. So, I do expect the momentum to crack soon; at my limit price, March 105's would have been a fair bet.

I expect covering to be accompanied by distribution by large holders (FMR et al.), tempering both dips and spikes. Premiums will drop, and I'll pick up a fill. Here's hoping.

One thing about this stock, it's always fun.

While I'm not a technician, I do agree with you that the shorts have a ways to go before they are off the hook on this dickens. Too many funds piled in quickly and closed the door on many of them. I'm "sighted in" but in wait mode.
