With a rare few exceptions a while back, I have never spent more than an hour at a time in their new GNET/SI beta, New, or Classic, or what ever label they want to place on it. It's IMHO, just not up to snuff. What's that old saying, "you can dress him up, but you can't take him out". This is a prime example. The *NEW* GNET/SI should be 86ed. Some personal should be fired, and they should just work on inproving the *original* site, period. Okay some of you, PLEASE come in and bash the hell out of me for being behind the times, but I like the original, it's a matter of choice, and no one, I mean no one should have anything cramed down them if they don't want it. I've read many posts where people call us folks still in the original "trouble makers", dinasours, unwilling to accept change, blah, blah, blah. But the point is that the *NEW* GNET/SI is so full of holes it can't doesn't hold an ounce of water. I wonder whose arrogant brain child this whole project was/is. "Yeah, we got the eyeballs, so let's clone someone elses work instead of working off of what we had that made us attractive to the members........" It's called FUNCTIONALITY, and ease of navigation. Since the week of 2/6, I have been taking odds that they wouldn't shut down the original then. Looks like I won at least two bets(others thought I was full of .... ) Maybe I am in certain cases, but I can still call a spade a spade. and this new crap just plain sucks. It has nothing to do with not wanting change. I invite change into my life. But not all change is GOOD Got it you brain dead die hards "rah rah GO GNET/SI" get a friggin back bone. I remember a couple years ago when Brad used to play around with new features. That was change, and by God, most of them were good ones. Who remembers the initiation of the "club houses". That was change, and good change. Over six months now since they first rolled out the Beta for the members, and they still can't find their....from a hole in the ground. That tells me something right there about the abilities of who ever is in charge over here now. Whose kissing whose......to get their jobs there? They drove the originators of SI away, and now are in a whopping heap of mierda, and it stinks. Yea, I get silent laughter when I read about all the bugs and screw ups that the GNET/SI is encountering. It all falls back to attitudes. "we're gonna win by god, no matter what the cost." Well consider once again the costs. Membership(oldies)have been dropping off like flies, and whence they finally do away with the *original* SI It will fall right off the cliff. Probably get caught on a limb in a drain ditch as so many (outsiders) still think SI is a cool place to be. Screw that. Get a clue, sign into the original. Might have limitations, but is still eons ahead of the *new* GNET/SI as far as performance. It's like Brad, they took your brain child and screwed it up BIG time! Okay, enough spewing for one post. Of course, I'm still gunning for "most ignored" on the new SI(censorship) this will go un-noticed by the vast majority. That;s fine. You ain't who I am concerned about. G'day. And long live techstocks.com just add features to that. if you want to come back and say it has its limitations, I say yeah right. Just get Brad back in there and he'll show you how to grease the gears and make it even better. But I suppose that'd cost you a pretty penny now, If I were him, I wouldn't come cheap anymore. But than again how many dollars have they poured into this new Beta crap. I tell you prde and arrogance will be the demise of SI being the #1 investor chat site. I have made numerous suggestions in the past to "the right people" and while I don;t claim to be a "know it all" some stuff I proposed had it's vality. Yet it has either gone unnoticed or a mere"thanks for the thought"smooth me over B.S.
