Hi Suresh,

>>PMCS and RMBS were just amazing today.... I thought I have seen
>>everything but I was wrong.

I am not sure what has PMCS going up. Guidance from management was for
revenue growth at 50 percent year over year and profit growth north of
that. They can't grow faster than they can add engineers. The purchase
of the company in Scotland(?) helped add head count and expertise in an area not in PMCS's realm but no way does this justify the price. All I can say is I wish I bought more.

On RMBS, it is about time. I have been wait 2 years for this and adding on the pull backs. If this makes a move like QCOM, I would be a real happy camper.<g> In the mean time I am just waiting for the $300 target for 2001 that the analysts mentioned a while back. It has been on the restricted list for shorting at my brokerage firm for a few months now so I expected some sort of short squeeze to come. The volume shipments should finally give the company some credibility.

>>BTW in one of your previous postings you were thinking about end of
>>Q window dressing funds this month. Don't you think they would do it
>>in March rather than in Feb ?

Duh, you are right! Amazing what lack of sleep and stress will do to the mind. A mind is terrible thing to waste!!!<g>

>>Have you seen RHAT lately ? No one seems to love it anymore.

I saw it break through the support levels, but I have to admit I am a little gun shy here.

For the long side of a Linus play, if and when, try SCOC. They have a position in Caldera and they have a line of e-commerce enabling software in addition. It is a Steve Harmon pick for 2000.

These companies were mentioned in the VECO call as make ion deposition product purchases and as possible repeat customers: Etek, Dicon (sp?), SPLI (my play from January), Herman Technology, Optical Filter Corp, and Barr Associates. I can't find symbols for any of the companies besides ETEK and SPLI. Does anyone have any leads for the other companies.

The 2'nd tier optics companies are still on a row. Just look at APAT last week and POCI today. JDSU is starting to look sick though. Your suggestion OCCF finally took off toay too.

Someone on the APAT board claimed that the APAT product is better/same as the AVNX product. I still need to research to find out if that is true.

CMVT is starting to look interesting for earnings. I expect ADCT to report great numbers tomorrow based on the reports from other telecom companies to date especially optical, xDSL, wireless and cable telephone. The $100 price target in the upgrade with the split does not hurt.
