I merely described what took place. Your post indicates problems elsewhere. I was referring to simple observable price/volume action. Why the attack? Were you somehow offended? If so, please explain. I find your "response" to the obvious in my post very unusual. I don't follow OBV, I find it useless, my figures came from time/sales, L2.......your response came from? I guess according to your logic (having eliminated short covering) that markets/stocks go up because of selling.....and down because of buying? I assume you believe the meteoric rise in the NASD has been powered by huge selling?
