Hello Raymond,

> Is there any 802.11a connectivity in your kit?

;-)

I am actually running some older 2Mb 802.11 gear here at my house right now ... it's a blast. I can wander around the house with my laptops, and have even friends over that have the same cards (older NetWave/Bay Networks cards) visit and share the Internet connection.

I only recently started to see the designation of 802.11b being applied to the newer 11Mbps DSS cards ... I'm not sure if my older 2Mbps cards were ever called "802.11a" ... I always saw the 802.11 usage.

I live in a pretty rural area and so I'm actually looking at some point-to-point wireless radios for the link from my house to my office ... they are 900Mhz and have a range of 20 miles ... ~128kbps ... I'm about 5-7 miles from the office. I can jump on the T1 there ... I'll post more information as I get it working ...
