Analog Devices' First-Quarter Revenues Increase 63%; EPS Rise to $0.50; 2-for-1 Stock Split Declared biz.yahoo.com They say communications are the driver of growth...."Our sales to communications customers continued to grow during the first quarter and were up more than 90% compared to last year's first quarter. Communications customers now account for over 40% of our total revenues, and are running at an annual rate of more than $800 million. And they say that ADSL is the main contributor within communications....``Our communications sales are being driven in large part by the huge growth in demand for high-speed access to the Internet, and in particular by the acceleration in ADSL buildout throughout the world and in central office high-density data and voice concentrators.
