I agree....people NEED TO STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES. File complaints with the NASD/SEC about this, tell your broker to raise hell with NITE. If they fear losing business from the firms, they may change their ways a little. Its just gotten 10x worse in the last month or so with them not filling orders. Its obvious that they short a falling stock and fill all customer sells at one price, teh LOW covering the short...but not many people see this or open their mouths. I do and people think I am a whiner...no, just trying to make it more fair for me to make a living.

$150,000,000 Public Offering of Common Stock

EMERYVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2000--Ask Jeeves, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASKJ - news) today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed public offering of $150,000,000 of Ask Jeeves common stock, including approximately $100,000,000 of common stock expected to be offered by Ask Jeeves and approximately $50,000,000 of common stock expected to be offered by selling stockholders.

The managing underwriters of the offering are Goldman, Sachs & Co., BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc., Chase H&Q and
U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, Inc.
