This is cocktail party chat, take it for what its worth, but someone I met in gas and oil made the following observation. Said he read it in an article by some guy, can't recall his name, but won a Pulitzer prize for some book on the oil industry, so well thought of.
Anyway, said the Saudis who really control OPEC, have a balancing act to keep price of oil high enough to maximize profit, but low enough not to cause inflation in U.S. Reason: Saudis sink every penny they earn into the U.S. stock market. Got me to thinking. Call it a bubble if you will, but its a bubble no one except maybe China wants to see burst.
