I'll bet there's a lot of 3Com employees dancing down the hallways and giving high-5's at work right now. Maybe even toasting the wisdom of Eric B.! ; )

Do I hear $80? Seventy-seventy-seventy five; now seventy six. Do I hear $80? $80 anyone? ........

.........VVVVVVVVVVV

Not just buying, but tripping over themselves to buy at these levels. Onward and upward. A few more days of this and my COMS holdings will be worth more than my LU holdings. LOL, never expected to see THAT!

Gary, 3Com still is a bargain at $25 billion. When they start showing some top line growth in the Networking sector and their Emerging markets division takes hold of at least 20% of revenues, which I surmise will be before the consummation of the IPO in September, you could easily see the stock closer to $160. If you recollect my estimations were $120 a share but with the pace of growth in Wireless and Broadband I wouldn't call anyone demented if he estimated $160.

How do you like my BALLISTICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

;)

Gary:

With COMS at 75 and a middle-of-the-road valuation of 35 for the COMS part, the market is valuing PALM at about 26. Kind of makes Goldman's job of pricing the IPO a bit easier! Who knows what it will be pricing at two weeks from now.
