Hey poet, thanx for the cyber-affection, it is appreciated!

Umm, re: HGSI (not hsgi, btw) I am not a holder. I hold CRA, which I like better since it seems to be positioning itself as the necessary middleman for all genomics-based work in the next century. HGSI probly will do just as well -- they certainly are picking their targets well -- but my other stocks are doing so well I can't sell anything.

CCR5 is just one of the "turnkeys" that is critical in the hiv infects cell cycle. If I recall correctly, people who have mutations preventing them from showing CCR5 are immune to HIV. So that news is good, 'cept it will take 10 years to do anything ith.

Gene stuff is so complicated, I would rather bet my money on someone like CRA who I see as selling information -- a kind of genomics pick and shovel play, like Affymetrix and their gene chip.

:D
