<<The run up has everything to do with PALM and NOTHING to do with COMS.>>

Nothing to do with Coms, Gary? After all, Coms does own and will continue to own most of Palm for, at least, awhile.

Gary, I remember a professor of mine at college telling me that when you use expletives in your arguments you are essentially conceding to the fact that you are void of substance to substantiate your arguments or contentions.

There are two facts that are causing 3Com's price to move, and I will grant you that it is heavily predisposed toward the Palm at this moment, but the company's Networking and Emerging markets are two areas that have tremendous potential. Once the institutions are cogently lured into the 3Com cob web via the Palm bait they can't help but look at the fundamentals and see how grossly undervalued the company truly is compared to the rest of its' sector.

Now if I am right the difference between us is that you feel that the company will not turn itself around and you don't give much credence to their future in the Emerging markets.

Forgive me for my bellicose ripostes but I just can't seem to hold back my last sentence. 3Com has pulverized the skeptics and with things to come the remnants of the Bears will be vaporized!!!!!!!!!!
