Yup, it sat there, stably running Intel's frequency ID utility for hours and hours. Anand was impressed, and so was Tom. Maybe you should write to them, tell them they should use their brains too.

EP, I thought you said it was running powerpoint!

Elmer, it's the cumine process, right? What's so raw about it, in process terms? Oops, rhetorical question, Eat it raw, raw raw raw, that's the spirit. And how many dies do you think they sifted through to get their 1 part that would run the frequency ID utility stably at 1.5 ghz?

Wasn't it a year ago Intel demoed their 1ghz part? The cumine that they still can't ship at 800mhz? It was a demo, of a part that might ship "hundreds of thousands" this year. Out of Intel's 10meg/month production. Who's reading too much into it? Not me.
