<<I guess put another way - where would COMS be trading today if there was no spin-off?>>

I understand you point, Gary. It just seemed like saying the price action in Coms has nothing to do with Coms was maybe pushing it a little. After all, it could be Sun or someone else preparing for the Palm spin-off but it isn't; it's Coms.

Also, and I'm stretching a little on this point, but I'm willing to wager a lunch that the Coms a few years down the road will be a very different Coms than what we've seen in the past; even sans Palm. I certainly could be wrong, of course. Having watched businesses slowly evolve (positively or negatively) over periods of time, as you have, too, I sense a fundamental shift occurring for the better. Vague, yes; but those long-term intuitions frequently pay off.

Best.
