. . . On Metals. . . . [Donna. . . I was referring to CMGI, YHOO, ICGE, AOL, etc. ] Now . . .on another topic. . .palladium. . . . with the supply being limited by Russians, the demand is expected to exceed supply. . .forcing up the price. . . .OH! Give me a break! The truth is the Russians are cornering the market on palladium. . . .and it is affecting the entire metals market. Now you could search all day long for a pure play on palladium. . .but there are none. . . at least not trading on the American markets. FGRA.V and PDL.V on the Vancouver are about as pure as it gets. However, our old favorite from our metals port, Stillwater Mining [Amex:SWC] is one of the few PGM's on U.S. markets. Coincidently, the courts in Ghana reversed the decision against ASL. . .allowing them to get back to work mining gold and raising money. . . this stock plummeted deeply as some shareholders declared war on the company. . . and is taking its good ol' time rebounding on this news. . . it seems the palladium news is dominating the metal heads. So there could be a swing trade on ASL from 3 to ? . . with a secondary play on gold. . .seeing as every gold mine produces a certain amount of silver, platinum, palladium, etc. . . which is why gold stocks were up on palladium strength, while gold's price barely moved. So, that gives us just one more area of speculation, while waiting for the markets to return to our favor.
