Intel champions support for new network chip
zdnet.com
"Intel's IXP 1200 network processor is the flagship of that initiative, having already gained over "30 major design wins" since it entered limited production last November, he said. It goes into full production next month. The short list of communications hardware developers that are working with the IXP 1200 include Nortel Networks Corp., Lucent Technologies Inc., Marconi Communications, Nokia and Ericcson as well as startups such as Phobos, Secure Computing Corp. and Zhone".

Regards
JC.

PS. WIND's VxWorks OS is the only OS ported to the IXP1200 !!!
