John, one way to get answeres is to ask questions. One way to obtain questions is to create "what if" situations. Of interest to me is the bank connection, which I believe is Goldman Sacks. What if Goldman Sacks saw two possible outcomes, as (1) Ashanti agrees to obtain physical gold for the hedges. (2) Goldman Sacks agrees to cough up financial help. Both of the above a lost for Goldman Sacks. - obtaining non paper gold, physical gold, drives up price of gold - financial help is a sending good money after bad money So, both suck, but which sucks less for Goldman Sacks ? Seems like a sharp rise in price of gold not only will hurt what they have hidden in the shadows, but also others that they are involved with in a collection of criminals activity interacting with each other. At all cost the lid must be keep on the price of gold, and in the spirit of "they were told ... in a way they could not refuse." The only problem for Goldman Sacks is that they cannot fulfill what they have signed up to do, and later this deal will fall apart. But today and tomorrow they have keep at bay, the Grim Reaper Man. Could be bad news for GATA & gold bugs, as now "they" have their backs against the wall, between rock & hard place, no place to run, no place to hide, so, one last "play" they must try, caution to the wind, they might just pull it off and win, crash the price of gold under US$250 and keep it there, or they may fail, but they will take innocents along with them. So might you wonder how that person can deliver the last message to you, using the method of intimidation, as in "If you are against Good, then ..."
