I am not accepting his numbers as truth just as either I did to some of your claims. It was the reason I have asked you to give your exact earning estimations adjusted to your accepted standard, NOT dismissing the totally difference between reported earnings and the net cash flow. I posted his message because he gave some explanations that counters your claim of the need of doing such things.

Just as he might be hyping in the other direction, I hesitate to take your claims as truths right away (as I read them in several of your messages, old, new and on some Buffettology thread) because with good reasons they impressioned me as quite exaggerated even if it may contain some truths. You did say you are shorting this stock.

So I may not know as much as you do but I think the truth is more likely to be somewhere between the two of your opposite claims.
Without direct access to totally truths, I am glad to hear both sides of the story. Just don't expect I accept them without questions (I will ask the other guy some questions too if I get a chance).
I gave my reason for doing so in my reply to your private message, someone gave me the similar kind of talk on SI about BVF when I bought it a year ago; now it is 4 times as much and reached another record high TODAY.

Of course I am not saying PPD is such a stock and I would do more of my own research as well.

Regards,

Shawn
