Hmm... Maybe I'll call Amazon up and ask them to give my little company 10 million dollars. I'll promise them a billion dollars, pay myself a real nice salary, and let my company go bankrupt in a year. They get the benefit of the projected revenue boost for a while, which should help their stock. And who cares about the future, anyway? I'll just form another company and promise them TWO billion dollars to erase their revenue drop from the bankruptcy of my first company.

You think they'll go for it?

I disagree. Why look for individual stocks going down when any idiot can find stocks going up?
Now, Amzn will probably come down to 60. But downward resistance at that point is very formidable.

Do you know what has happened to short sellers this last 10 years? Most of them are now street people living in San Francisco.
Don't join them.
