Deeber,

Heck I thought it was all Brown and Co.'s fault. Now you are mad at NITE also?

Just like I told you on the Brown board. Your problems are inherent to the stocks you are trading. If you choose to play in that sandbox, don't whine when you find out the cat also uses it as a litter box.

Deeber, if you are a professional trader, why on earth are you using Brown as your broker? If Brown won't stand behind their client, I suggest you try another broker. I assume you've demanded Brown to either break those trades, or make good on a reasonable fill. Even if NITE is at fault, which I tend to doubt after I checked the Times and Sales log from that TEXN trade (there was plenty of volume on both bid/ask of that descent from 3 to 2 from 10 to 10:30). I suspect Brown screwed up getting that order to NITE, and they are not fessing up.

...but it seems most people on SI are pure morons that have no understanding of how the market works, and market makers.

if you followed this thread you would know the number and in depth discussion that occurs on mm and the various articles referenced. i would be surprised if this thread was not the most knowledgeable in the subject and hence the humor when you came thought you might be telling us something new. seriously, this is just the wrong thread.

sort of like people who have a stock drop who believes the lawyers will be their friend in getting their money back instead of just sucking more from a company.

deeber, i appreciate your post, since you have given this board some necessary mouth to mouth until gary posted the buyout ruomor(thanks gary, from all of us) and morgan has gone into a quiet period on nites rise.

Is not Knight the largest market maker in the U.S.? Aren't they highly automated? Do you think they sit around figuring how to screw the little guy on a trade by trade basis? Automation has seemed to lower the spreads in the financial world. It has also increased the volume of stock traded on NASDAQ. I would think that maybe the problem you are having is with your broker or just the market in general. Advice: Don't place market orders. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't.

Maybe I just don't understand your gripe. People can always go elsewhere, I guess.
