Pulled from SI threads:

GEO Interactive is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange under the trading symbol GIM. (Geo Interactive Media Group Ltd.) Looks to be a probable winner in the streaming media game. www.emblaze.com

Patented Breakthrough Technology
Emblaze, the first Internet-specific solution for real-time multimedia delivery over the Internet, is a proprietary
software technology developed by GEO. This real-time, streaming multimedia technology addresses bandwidth—the
prime limiting factor of the Internet.

Emblaze enables multimedia content to be viewed and interacted with in real time from the moment a Web site is
accessed, on any platform, with minimal delays, and without preloads, downloads, caching or buffering. The
multimedia content simply plays by streaming in real time from the Web site of a remote server using a standard
telephone line via a modem at 14.4 kbps or 28.8 kpbs per second. Unlike other technologies, Emblaze enables
animation and video with full-frame content change whose length is limited only by the size of the hard drive of the
Web site server.

Better get this one now. (This was written 4/99 when the stock was $3.00 American, now it's at $37.00)

Hello All,

I agree completely with this post ... I believe that they would be crazy to sell right now, and that the ASP services will only grow in ways that they have never even imagined!

This is one stock that I have been committed to for a long time and will continue to hold ... I see this as another RealNetworks ... they have the potential to be fundamental to many future aspects of the Internet!
