W.Molloy: ETSI IPR and standardisation: You posted this across threads, so maybe you could let the others know where to start looking; Check these for the standards process and IPR policy for ETSI. These URLS were hidden, but I will test them as I post: The standards process etsi.org or etsi.org and about IPR policy: etsi.org I also had a peek at UMTS IPR declarations, which you may also find interesting...just search around the ETSI site or go to the UMTS bit. There is also a guide with regards to IPR (just do a search IPR policy). GSM followed this, buit as I mentioned why did IDC fail in the attempt (if there was one) to include its IPR. Cheers, M
