OT Intel to take stake in local technology companies 2/16/00 Bombay: US-based Intel is planning several investments in India in technology development, product development and service providing companies over the next 12 months. Sean Maloney, Intel's director of sales, said Intel has already invested in a few such companies, including a Bangalore-based silicon chip firm. Intel's India program is focussed on developing infrastructure to facilitate the move to an Internet economy, Maloney said. -Bridge News
