Tom and all,

We made CBS marketwatch...they mention Bob G and Benny B...they quoted me at the top of the story but didn't use my name.

Feeling free ... CheckFree

"Is this the greatest moment in your stock trading life?"

This question appropriately breezed through the CheckFree message boards on Wednesday as the stock amassed an impressive 50 percent gain in the face of an otherwise tepid stock market.

CheckFree's purchase of online bill payment rival, TransPoint, for $1.2 billion set shares on fire and stirred up a buzz in cyberspace as investors applauded the newly-formed affiliation with Microsoft (MSFT: news, msgs). See full story.

On Silicon Investor, RobertG exemplified the jovial nature of the much-wealthier, CKFR longs: "I suspect there are some posters who now have money coming out of the wazoo. More power to the faithful -- patience can be rewarded." And BennyB liked the newly established relationships: "Great thing about this is that CheckFree (CKFR: news, msgs) will have much more pricing power. Not to mention having MSFT as an equity investor."
