It sounds as you and I share the same kiss-of-death touch when it comes to buying or selling stocks, freeus. This is one of the reasons I am a LoooooooooooongTB&H,H,H,H.

Hummm... maybe I should sell 10 shares of QCOM tomorrow. Something has to get its price moving in the right direction. If it takes me selling 10 shares, I'll sacrifice them for the good of my remaining holdings.

Unsolicited comment: The logical response to your own experience is to buy and hold--much longer. A recent study shows women are turning out to be, on average, better investors than men, for the simple reason that they don't jump in and out of stocks as often as the men. "Restless energy is a great destroyer of wealth." I myself wish I had heeded this advice more often in the past.
