I think we're all starting to get this way...

I sold OXY, UCL today. Normally I'd hold both. I bought more PXD and back into MDR at 10 1/2.

However, based on momentum OEI's chart looks rock solid. It's not like an XTO or a PXD popped 1pt. Hey I'd sell some if that happened. Both are still trading flat. They are good buys for the patient. But OEI is one of the few E&P's that's trending up nicely.

Stochastics are turning up nicely. I think we're assured of at least another spike tomorrow that may peak as high as 11.

Again, I want to have some core holdings. Trading every single position doesn't appeal to me. At this point OEI and VPI are core holdings.

I'm not criticizing those who sold, very vise and prudent and I'm sure you'll make money on PXD or whatever.

BTW, Slider good observation/post on Clinton and the SPR.
