John, I guess my thinking is flawed. I thought the switch to 300mm wafer would be in this cycle. From K. Derbyshire on the Blood thread:

No, I don't have good estimates for how much capacity will be coming online. But all the major players have announced significant expansions, and some, particularly foundries, are continuing to spend far more on capacity than the sustainable 15-20% of revenues.

I thought alot of mattsons business was based on the theory of the bridge tool being used in the next 18mos.
