I quickly scanned the posts today when I came home, and noticed that OEI was up nicely, and that the networks were going to talk about oil in the evening news. Well they did muster up a few representatives who talked how ungrateful the Arabic countries are for us going to do the fighting "for them". The "In Depth" on NBC was actually not as bad as I thought it would be as they paraded the big SUV's and interviewed Yuppies who do not mind paying $65 to fill the tank.

John, these are the same people who have moved to 4000+ sq ft houses and require two furnaces to keep them warm. A friend of mine has a house like this and when I went to visit him for the first time, I wondered (half aloud) who was going to clean it and who was going to pay the heating bills. That is in part which drives the gas consumption. <VBG>

best, Seppo
