After eating dinner and thinking about it I decided to short the soft power pins to see if I had a defective switch in the case. guess what? It started right up and worked fine! Bad switch!!! case solved....LOL! I was pushing the wrong button! best, JJ

It's the reset button.<g> The power button is disguised as an off color triangle recessed in the plate! I thought it was just a design not a button!!!! LOL....it was hard to push the first time but hey it works!!! I'm starting that book now! "Jeff's computer chronicles"
