AOL/TWX is in a position now to drive standards in streaming media.

Any ideas on what those standards might be? Lbrt and Tivo? And will they profit from that?

Microsoft does compete with Phone.com. They looked into the company
before they went IPO and decided not to go with them.

Besides, there can never be another Netscape. ie. MSFT will not make the same mistake again and blatantly attempt to put a small company out of business if they escape DOJ intact this time around...
