Madman: don't tell them. I want them to short first thing in the morning. If you tell them they can short at 40 and it only opens at 38 they may be disappointed. The goal is for them to short heavily while some of us buy and then raise the price so high they lose all their cash. Shorts are generally not very bright, especially any that continue to short REFR as it climbs. They don't know about the roomful of folks in San Francisco that will be buying heavily when they wake up. They don't believe the news is coming very soon. Don't tell them! Let them get suckered in and we get a nice short-squeeze out of it too. Play along with me. Why are you ruining my fun?
