Dan, I'm just weary and bogged down with work today. I need to get in touch with the Joy of the Lord. The things of this world can really get us down sometimes.

I read this earlier today. Maybe it will be helpful to some.

Beyond our relationship with God, life consists of human
relationships and the welfare of others. If we are rich in the things of this world but devoid of meaningful human relationships and negligent of the fostering of mankind's well-being, we are poor. If we are rich in human relationships and the cultivation of human welfare, then we are wealthy.

Therefore, if we give of our material means to promote the cause of Christ, we become wealthy. That is how one gives away but becomes wealthy in return.

Proverbs 11:28 says, "He who trusts in his riches will fall (wither), but the righteous will flourish like foliage."
