Obviously the writer is getting bad information, or doesn't understand the speeds he's talking about. The statement that GPRS increases transmission speeds to 100 Megabytes per second is on it's face laughable, but it also says this is a 10 fold increase over existing systems (GSM) which is again erroneous. If I had to guess, I'd say he meant to say 100 Kilobytes per second, because I believe that's about 10 times the current GSM speed of 9.6 Kbps.
