~OT~...<<all true but the market us yawning... WHY???? You know it I know it, does everyone know it and is it priced in now? I have no idea, but the market is speaking to us... It's saying "Yawnnnnnn.." LOL>>

Greg: You are right...at the moment the internut incubators are temporarily 'out of favor'....look how far CMGI and ICGE are off their highs...I will not sell my remaining CMGI shares though -- these stocks can change direction quickly and explode to the UPside....IMO, they are great for an IRA. Yet, at the moment my AWRE and CREE seem to have a lot more momentum....we'll see how long this continues <G>....

Best Regards,

Scott

~OT~...Greg: Here is something I thought you might appreciate...This appeared in a report from the street.com today. It is a list of criteria to help determine which stocks are going to continue to run and give phenomenal returns <G>. Ask yourself how many of these criteria does Stock X meet?

<<A well-targeted screen like this -- which ultimately will narrow our list of stocks to research from nearly 8,300 to around 40 -- is easy to create in the Finder. I used the following criteria:

Company basics / Market Capitalization greater than $50 million. (We don't want to bother looking at extremely small companies.)

Advisor FYI / Stock Price History / New 52-Week High "since" In the Last Week. (We're looking for stocks that made new highs in the past week. You can change it to the past day, month or quarter, if you prefer.)

Trading & Volume / Avg. Daily Vol. Last 2 Weeks greater than Avg. Daily Vol. Last Month. (We're looking for stocks making new highs on increasing trading volume.)

Stock Price History / % Price Change YTD > 50%. (We're looking for stocks that are outperforming the market already by a significant degree).

Stock Price History / % Price Change Last Month "high as possible." (We're looking for stocks that are up a lot in the past month, not just ones that made strong moves at the start of the year, then went limp).>>

Good Luck Investing.

Regards,

Scott

You seem to have a keen insight into cutting edge technology so I ask you this,at some point in the not too distant future, will sub 500.00 network appliances in some form replace the more expensive(1000.00-2000.00) PC? Is this where the PC industry is heading? Also, can profit margins be retained if this comes to pass?

RE: incubators, e.g. CMGI, ICGE

Just a thought, but with DVIN going public very soon and at least two major players raising significant amounts of cash for start up incubators, perhaps people are just re-allocating part of the money devoted to the industry in general.
