There is a surplus that, believe it or not, may have better applications than tax cuts.

Agreed, however I am not convinced that "guvmint" needs to take extra money from the taxpayers, and then "decide" how best to spend it.

About pork barrel projects, didn't there used to be a weekly show on TV that went around scoping out these "pork" projects? If there is a site like that on the net, I could probably drive myself crazy!! haha

Money spent better elsewhere?
